Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

I hereby acknowledge and agree: The purpose of menopause counseling is to improve the overall health, vitality and well-being of the body through behavior change, education, and the use of natural foods and non-medicinal nutritional supplements. The Integrative Nutrition Health and Menopause Coach does not diagnose diseases, disorders or conditions.

The Integrative Nutrition Health and Menopause Coach is not a licensed Dietitian, Naturopathic Doctor or Medical Physician. As part of the Menopause Counseling Services, I may be asked to provide information concerning my physical habits, medical history, moods, energy levels, likes and dislikes, lifestyle, and diet. This information is collected to enable the Coach to: (i) assess my knowledge of nutrition, (ii) educate me about the benefits of sound lifestyle practices and (iii) recommend dietary, sleep, and exercise, and behavior changes to improve my general health, vitality, and overall well-being. This information will be held in confidence.

If the Coach suspects the existence of disease, disorder, or condition, I will be informed of this suspicion. However, I acknowledge this is not a diagnosis and I am directed to promptly consult a licensed Physician or Naturopath. Any recommendations I follow for changes in behavior or diet, including the use of nutritional supplements, are entirely my responsibility.

The Coach shall not be liable for any claims related to my health, safety, or physical well-being, including those claims resulting from the negligence of the Coach, arising out of my participation in these services.

In consideration of my participation, I hereby release, hold harmless, and agree not to sue the Coach for any and all liability, including claims of negligence, for any physical or mental injury or death that may result from my participation.

I have carefully read this agreement and understand that it is a full release of liability. I am choosing to participate freely and voluntarily, and I understand that by signing, I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue for negligence. I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own health and well-being throughout this program.

By registering for Thrive During the Transition ("Program"), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Program Description

Thrive During the Transition is an educational and coaching program designed to provide information, tools, resources, and support related to perimenopause, menopause, health, wellness, nutrition, lifestyle, and hormone education.

Your enrollment includes access to program materials, live coaching sessions, community support, and other resources as outlined in the program description at the time of registration.

No Medical Advice

The information provided in this Program is for educational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Participation in this Program does not establish a healthcare provider-patient relationship.

Participants should consult with their healthcare provider regarding any medical concerns, diagnoses, medications, hormone therapy decisions, or treatment plans.

Program Access

Participants will receive access to the Program beginning on the scheduled start date.

Access includes:

Twelve (12) weeks of guided program support
Six (6) live group coaching sessions (not recorded)
What's App community access during 12-week program
Program materials and resources
Four (4) additional weeks of course access following the completion of the guided program period

There are no makeup sessions if you cannot make the live coaching sessions and they are NOT recorded for privacy reasons.

Program content, schedules, bonuses, guest experts, and resources are subject to change without notice.

Community Guidelines

Participants agree to engage respectfully with fellow members and facilitators.

Harassment, discrimination, abusive behavior, solicitation, promotion of outside services, or disruption of the community environment may result in immediate removal from the Program without refund.

Confidentiality

Participants are encouraged to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of other members.

While every effort is made to create a safe and supportive environment, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in group settings, live calls, or community platforms.

Intellectual Property

All Program materials, videos, handouts, worksheets, recordings, presentations, graphics, and written content remain the intellectual property of Laurel Wilson and/or MotherJourney.

Participants may not:

Share login credentials
Copy or distribute Program materials
Reproduce content for commercial use
Record, sell, teach, or repurpose Program content without written permission

Unauthorized sharing or distribution may result in removal from the Program and legal action when appropriate.

Payment Terms

Full payment or enrollment in an approved payment plan is required to participate.

Participants enrolled in a payment plan remain responsible for completing all scheduled payments regardless of participation level, attendance, or completion of the Program.

Refund Policy

Due to the immediate access provided to proprietary educational materials, program resources, coaching content, and digital materials, all sales are final.

No refunds, partial refunds, credits, transfers, or cancellations will be provided for any reason, including but not limited to:

Scheduling conflicts
Change of mind
Failure to attend live sessions
Failure to access course materials
Personal circumstances
Medical circumstances
Relocation
Dissatisfaction resulting from failure to participate fully in the Program

By registering, you acknowledge and agree that all Program purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Limitation of Liability

By participating in the Program, you accept full responsibility for your own health, decisions, actions, and results.

Laurel Wilson, MotherJourney, Thrive During the Transition, affiliated partners, contractors, and guest experts shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in the Program.
